You will find below all the informations you may need before and during the show :


Registrations

The registrations are definitively closed.


Qualifications

Only cats of fully recognized breeds and their fully recognized varieties as well as house cats belonging
to individual FIFe members may participate at the World Show.

Participation in the World Show is only possible for cats which have obtained the minimum necessary
qualification depending on the class in which they compete at the World Show.

Classes 1 – 6 (adults and neuters):
No qualification needed, cats having obtained the title International Champion, International Premior or higher are automatically qualified.

Classes 7 – 10 (adults and neuters):
3 x Excellent 1 in class 11 – 12 or
1 x Best in Variety in classes 7 – 12 or
1 x Nomination for Best in Show in classes 7 – 12.
For classes 8 and 10 (neuters): No qualification needed for cats having obtained the title International
Champion or higher, these cats are automatically qualified.

Class 11 (juniors):
3 x Excellent 1 in class 11 – 12 or
1 x Best in Variety in classes 11 – 12 or
1 x Nomination for Best in Show in classes 11 – 12.

Class 12 (kittens):
1 x Excellent 1 in class 12.

Class 14 (house cats):
1 x Nomination for Best in Show house cats
No qualification needed for Distinguished Show Merit (DSM) house cats, these cats are automatically qualified.

In all cases where qualifications apply: the qualification period is the 13 months period prior to the World
Show. Qualifications obtained during the 13 months period prior to the World Show by cats belonging to breeds resp. varieties in preliminary recognition phase are valid if the breed resp. variety achieves full recognition prior to the date of the World Show.


Fees per cat

75€ with the use of a personnal cage of max 70cm
or
90€ with the use of a personnal cage of max 130 cm for one cat
or
85€ with the rental of a single cage (60 x 60 cm)
or
100€ with the rental of a double cage (120 x 60 cm) for one cat

No extra cost for catalog and parking !

Daylight saving time switchover : before you go to bed on Saturday, move your clocks back one hour !

Sunday 29th october

10:00 | Best in Show Housecats, Category 1 and 2
13:00 – 14h:00 | lunch break
14:00 | Best in Show Category 3 and 4
followed by the closing ceremony
17:00 | distribution of judging reports
18:00 | end of the World Show 2023

Directions for veterinary examinations

The certificate is highly recommended to avoid queue, it allows you to bypass the entry veterinary check. It must be completed and signed by a licensed veterinarian, no earlier than 5 days before the show (23 October), and presented to the organizers at the entrance to the show.

Cats without certificate will be checked by the vet team upon entry.
